Rivet High School will hold a Career Day for our sophomores and juniors on the morning of Tuesday, April 22.
Twenty-two speakers from the community will come to Rivet to share about their careers with our students, and students will be learning about a wide variety of careers: business, healthcare, retail, architecture and design, counseling, government service, construction and housing, and information technology. Career Day is designed to assist students in making decisions about their future education and career plans, and we are grateful to all the speakers who have agreed to take time out of their busy days to be a blessing to our students!
Rivet students took home the following awards at the 2014 Knox County High School Art Exhibit at Shircliff Gallery: 1st place in Graphic Design: Hunter Ingram;1st place in 2D Mixed Media: Hope Long;1st place in Fiber & Textiles: Lauren Herman; 2nd place in Graphic Design: Katie Donovan; Honorable Mention in Graphic Design: Tanner Thomas, Robbie Wagoner; Additional students whose work was selected for the exhibit were Maggie Westfall and Mattie Morris.
